Maurice Petrin has been a carer for a long time. He has brought up his two sons alone since his divorce twenty years ago and he’s also had caring duties in the past for his 90-year-old dad.
21-year-old Caitlin lives in Liverpool in south-west Sydney with her mum. She is the full-time primary carer for her 60-year-old mother.
Mirella is the primary carer for her 82-year-old mother-in-law, Laila. They live with Mirella’s husband and four daughters in Revesby, in south-west Sydney. Laila has always lived with Mirella’s family.

Our Carer Gateway QLD and NSW teams are available 6am-10pm, 7 days a week. Emergency respite care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
