About Carer Gateway
Carer Gateway is a national support service funded by the Australian Government. It provides free, local services and supports for carers. A carer is anyone who supports a family member or friend who has a disability, mental health condition, chronic health condition, terminal illness, or is frail aged.
Wellways delivers Carer Gateway services across Queensland, and in the New South Wales regions of South West Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains.

Translation services and resources
If you are more comfortable having a conversation in a language other than English, you can use the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS).
TIS is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is accessible from anywhere in Australia for the cost of a local call on 131 450. TIS can translate in more than 150 languages.
