Individual counselling or therapeutic group sessions offer a safe, non-judgmental space to talk about the joys, challenges and stresses you experience in your caring role. Speaking with a qualified and experienced counsellor can help you to explore your thoughts and feelings, share concerns and work on resolving specific problems including self-care, self-esteem, assertion and more.

Counselling is a free service available in-person, online using a secure telehealth platform or over the phone.

Translation services and resources

If you are more comfortable having a conversation in a language other than English, you can use the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS).

TIS is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is accessible from anywhere in Australia for the cost of a local call on 131 450. TIS can translate in more than 150 languages.
