Tailored Support Packages are designed to provide you with services and support that help you in your caring role, giving you time and resources to manage your own wellbeing so that you can continue to balance your caring responsibilities and be there for those you care for.
Tailored support may include:
- Services or equipment to help with your education eg. tutoring, supplies or training courses
- Equipment to support your mobility, health and wellbeing
- Planned respite, where a service provider steps in to take care of your loved one while you take a break
- Domestic assistance such as cooking and cleaning services, grocery shopping assistance and transportation
Tailored Support Packages are free and tailored to suit your individual needs.

Translation services and resources
If you are more comfortable having a conversation in a language other than English, you can use the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS).
TIS is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is accessible from anywhere in Australia for the cost of a local call on 131 450. TIS can translate in more than 150 languages.
