Our centre is designed to be accessible and inclusive, allowing you to focus on your wellbeing with ease and comfort. When you arrive, a staff member will welcome you at the entrance and provide any support you may need.

Our centre is located at Lower Ground, 61-65 Anderson Street, Lilydale.

There is one level and one entrance that is flat and free of stairs.

  • The entrance, accessible via the Coles Lilydale Village carpark on Anderson Street has double automatic sliding doors that open into the welcome space with reception, seating and a children’s corner.

Public Transport

  • Train: Lilydale Train Station is about 900 metres or a 12-minute walk from our centre.
  • Bus: The nearest bus stop on Castella St/Maroondah Hwy is 260 metres or a four-minute walk from our centre.

Bicycle

Our centre does not have bike racks or storage. The nearest bike racks are located in the Coles Lilydale Village carpark, approximately 100 metres from the centre.

Parking

There are two dedicated disabled parking spots directly in front of our centre. Additional parking is available at the Coles Lilydale Village carpark, with direct access to the centre.

We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and accessible environment that supports you and your needs. Our spaces are thoughtfully designed to ensure ease of movement and to be accessible for wheelchairs and mobility aids.

Ground Floor

  • Single-level centre, entrance with double automatic sliding doors.
  • Flat and open pathways with no stairs our entire centre including consultation rooms with 85-cm wide doors.

Amenities and Features

  • Welcome Space: Kitchenette with tea and coffee facilities, kid’s corner, computer kiosk, and phone charging station.
  • Toilets: Two unisex toilets, including one accessible toilet with an 85 cm-wide door and shower.
  • Laundry: Washing machine and dryer available to participants.
  • Parent’s Room: Nursing recliner chair, children’s toys and activities, tea and coffee facilities, microwave, fridge, and changing table.
  • Comfort Room: A quiet space available if you need a moment to yourself, equipped with sensory-friendly items for you to use as needed.
  • Multi-faith Room: Wash facilities and a prayer mat to support spiritual practices.
  • Community Art Space: Showcasing local artwork and collaborative projects.
  • Community library: for borrowing, keeping or swapping books.

  • Each room includes a variety of sensory items to support your needs as required.

Retreat Spaces

  • Comfort Room: A quiet space available if you need a moment to yourself, equipped with sensory-friendly items for you to use as needed.
  • Communal space: An open social/communal space with comfortable seating, kitchenette and a computer kiosk with phone charging available.
  • Quiet room: A designated quiet consultation room is available, equipped with sensory items.

  • Our centre is near streets and footpaths but receives only low levels of outdoor noise throughout.
