Grassroots Neighbourhood House Program

We work with Neighbourhood Houses across Tasmania to increase awareness of mental health and recovery and support for people experiencing mental health issues.

About Grassroots Neighbourhood House Program

We work with Neighbourhood Houses to determine the support they need. This could include:

  • Tailored support and capacity-building strategies across the state for staff, volunteers, and committee/board to respond to the mental health needs of their community
  • Education sessions to increase knowledge, awareness, and referral pathways.
  • Support to establish partnerships with mental health service providers.

How to access this service

We work with Neighbourhood Houses across Tasmania.
