A lawyer with over 38 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law, Michael has a special interest in health law and an extensive governance background in the health and community sectors. Michael is currently Chair of the Board of Alfred Health and is a Board Member of Ambulance Victoria and Holmesglen Institute. He is a former Chair of the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission and Board member of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine. He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2004.
