A lawyer with over 40 years’ experience in corporate and commercial law, Michael has a special interest in health law and an extensive governance background in the health and community sectors. Michael is currently also Chair of the Board of Peninsula Health, Chair of Holmesglen Institute and Board Member of Latrobe Regional Health. He is a former Chair of the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, National Chair of Greening Australia and inaugural Co-Chair of Reconciliation Victoria Inc. He was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2004.
