About Yumarrala Ngarrdji
“Yumarrala Ngarrdji” is “Give Knowledge” in the Woi wurrung language of the Wurundjeri Woi wurrung people, on whose land this support is delivered.
Yumarrala Ngarrdji identifies and addresses the barriers that the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community face in accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We can provide direct support to community members – from submitting Access Request Forms through to developing, renewing or reviewing an NDIS plan.
Wellways is partnering with the Aboriginal Health Team at Banyule Community Health Services, and are working closely with Oonah Belonging Place, Victorian Aboriginal Health Services (VAHS) and EACH who are running concurrent projects.
Wellways is building respectful relationships within the community, networking and sharing information and resources to build the capacity of Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations.
