Partners in Recovery (PIR) is a service that helps coordinate support for people with severe and persistent mental health issues who have complex needs. The service also involves and supports friends and family members.
Partners in Recovery begins by gaining an understanding of your goals and aspirations, mental health and support needs, and any existing services or supports that might be in place. Partners in Recovery then works with you to connect you to appropriate services and supports, and ensures that all of these work together around your needs. Partners in Recovery works with you at your pace, with you in control.
Partners in Recovery is a free service, supported by Commonwealth Government funding and is available in most locations across Australia.
People who experience mental health issues, friends and family, and professionals can self-refer to Partners in Recovery.
