Wellways Australia has launched a new campaign to support its National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) programs and services. This is a first for the organisation which has grown to employ 1000 staff across eastern Australia.

The integrated marketing campaign which was created by advertising agency Marmalade Melbourne, began on Sunday April 15 and will run until June and comprises predominantly of radio and digital spots.

It features three NDIS stories of people participating in activities they enjoy. The campaign theme is “I want to get from here… to here”, with the key message being that Wellways supports people to achieve their goals and that Wellways can help them find the way as their NDIS provider.

“The NDIS can be difficult to navigate for people with disabilities and their carers and families’ said Mary Orgill, Wellways General Manager Marketing and Communications. “This campaign positions Wellways as your NDIS partner – we are here to work with NDIS participants to identify and achieve what are sometimes simple daily life tasks”.

“The thinking behind the campaign was that sometimes a simple path to an end goal can be a momentous task if taken on alone – which is true for people working out how to access NDIS services,” said Lisa Gumbleton from Marmalade Melbourne.

“The campaign aims to demonstrate that with support, an end goal can be achieved.”

Wellways has been providing services for 40 years and offers NDIS services throughout eastern Australia, from Tasmania to Queensland.
