Kids with adult responsibilities

Young carers are front and center in a new short film created by the Wellways Carer Gateway Toowoomba team. Called The Young Carer Journey, the film highlights the enormous responsibility that young carers face on a daily basis. The film features 9-year-old Liam who cares for his great grandparents. Liam explains how his life is anything but ordinary, he has important responsibilities at home like cooking and cleaning the house, both before and after school.
