Free services for carers
The Australian Government is investing $550 million into services for carers.
If you support a family member or friend who has a disability, mental health condition, chronic health condition, terminal illness, or is frail aged you can access free supports via Carer Gateway.
Carer Gateway is a national support service funded by the Australian Government. It provides free support through a network of regional Carer Gateway Service Providers.
Wellways is your first point of contact in Queensland and the New South Wales regions of South West Sydney and Nepean Blue Mountains.
Our new services can be personalised and tailored to your specific needs and include:
- Peer Support
- Respite services
- Support Planning and Packages
COVID-19 Update: With the current climate it is more important than ever that you have access to carer supports. Some services have been modified to limit face-to-face contact.
