Staff benefits

  1. Salary packaging benefits
Wellways is classified as a public benevolent institution, allowing us to offer salary packaging benefits that can increase take home pay. This means you can spend a portion of your pre-tax salary on rent, mortgage repayments, dining out and car leasing.
  2. Holiday leave loading
Wellways permanent staff receive a 17.5 per cent leave loading every time they take a holiday. This means an employee taking annual leave is entitled to an extra payment on their base rate of pay.
  3. Flexible work arrangements
Many of our staff opt to work hours that suit family or study commitments. Wellways staff are able to negotiate their preferred hours of work to suit their lifestyle.
  4. Discount health insurance
Employees who take advantage of salary packaging also have access to discounted health insurance through a corporate partner program.
  5. Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The Employee Assistance Program is a free and confidential counselling service available to staff and their family for either work-related or personal matters.
  6. Professional development
We believe in developing our people. We can offer career opportunities for those interested in developing specialist skills in the community mental health area or in the expanding National Disability Insurance Scheme service landscape. We also provide ongoing training and development supervision, so you can improve your skills and advance your career.
  7. Locations of work
Our network exists along the eastern seaboard, allowing potential work opportunities at a diverse range of geographical locations.
